The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Overview

Nestled just south of Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is swanky, consummate, and downright glitzy. It’s one of the trendiest hotels, redefining resort luxury on the Strip. Boasting 3,027 uber-chic rooms, The Cosmo (as it’s known to the locals) pack everything you can dream of into a resort hotel – diverse dining options encompassing over 30 eateries, a splendid 100000-sq. ft casino, three outstanding outdoor pools with individual atmospheres, 6 legendary bars, and plenty of Instagram-ready spots.

The rooms at the Cosmopolitan are equally glamorous yet contemporary and comfortable with a rich color palette of bright whites and cool blues. These residential-style accommodations also incorporate plenty of luxurious amenities, including separate seating areas and large bathrooms with exquisite marble floors, not to forget it’s the only resort in Sin City that offers the choice of a terrace or balcony in all guest rooms.

Right from the lobby floor, you’ll come across the restaurant that everyone’s raving about, the Wicked Spoon Brunch. In fact, almost all dining spots at the hotel have received praise from recent patrons, most notably for serving in individual portions instead of the buffet style seen almost everywhere else. When you’re not in your luxe room, you can take a dip in any of the resort’s three ultra-relaxing pools.

Recent guests highly commend the staff for their friendly service and the helpful knowledge of the concierge team. This hotel is definitely for the cash-rich, young crowd looking to enjoy a bit of Vegas while getting VIP treatment. It’s one of the swankiest and most modern hotels in Sin City, and if you’re a member of Marriott Bonvoy, you’re in for an even sweeter treat when you choose to book a room here.

Room & Suites at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas boasts elegant, residential-style rooms with balconies, sleek décor, and a seductive vibe. They’re a pleasant continuation of the resort’s sophisticated and sultry theme, but the real treat is the choice of either a balcony or a terrace, something unheard of on the Las Vegas Strip.

The guest rooms are decorated in different shades of gray, featuring dark gray pieces of furniture, gray-striped carpets, and textured gray wall décor. The gray gradient is elegantly accented by undertones of gold in wall frames, pillows on furniture, and nightstand lamps.

Each room has a spacious bathroom designed with huge square windows and contrasting black & white marble tiles, as well as a deep soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower.

Again, all rooms at Cosmo boast spacious balconies, most of which afford great views of the iconic Bellagio fountains. Suites make up most of the guest rooms, although Cosmopolitan has one standard room type called the City Room. It’s the resort’s most compact option, starting at 460 square feet, and houses an ensuite bathroom and a duo of queen-sized beds. The mid-tier options include the Studio Suite, featuring a half-wall that cordons the bedroom off the living space.

Those looking for bigger space and more luxurious amenities should opt for one-bedroom suites. Of course, the Cosmo does offer an array of high-end suites, with the Chelsea penthouse at the high end. It boasts a staggering 3,700 square feet of absolute glamor and glitz.

As a leading destination for the young and well-heeled, the rooms are high-tech through and through, including iPad-controlled in-room atmosphere and lighting. There’s also a large 55-inch plasma TV in each room.

Restaurants & Bars at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Befitting a Vegas luxury resort, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is home to around 30 restaurants, which encompass both upscale and casual dining. It’s a well-curated selection of restaurants, meaning that guests can get a taste of many global eats, from French classics to Chinese-Mexican fusion without having to leave the resort.

Some of Cosmo’s most sought-after dining spots include Wicked Spoon; the Italian restaurant Scarpetta by celebrity chef Scott Conant, and Jaleo, which serves delectable Spanish tapas. Flagship restaurants also include China Poblano and Momofuku.

There are six iconic bars on site, including The Chandelier, a stunning well-lit 3-level lounge bar that looks like artwork. There are also two nightclubs that attract the young and hip in town.

Amenities at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The relaxation, entertainment, and enjoyment opportunities are plenty, diverse, and comprehensive at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. That’s all thanks to a bevy of modern amenities and facilities.

Spa

Cosmopolitan has an excellent spa and salon. The Sahara Spa and Hammam’s design is inspired by Southwestern landscapes. It offers an extensive menu of bath experiences, skin treatments, facials, and all sorts of massages. The spa facility is spacious, offering 43,000 sq. ft. and featuring 30 treatment spots. The Violet Hour Salon offers salon services on site.

Gym and Fitness

Each tower on the Cosmopolitan complex has its own fitness center. It’s fully equipped with strength-training equipment, stationary bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, and other cardio machines. The Chelsea Fitness Center also boasts a movement studio and tennis courts.

Business Amenities

The hotel offers a total of almost 200,000-sq-ft of conference and meeting space. It has meeting rooms that can cater to between ten and 5,000 guests at one seating. There’s a business center that offers shipping and printing, as well.

Casino at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The hotel complex includes a gorgeous 100000-square-foot casino with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Strip. Everything in the casino is executed at a jaw-dropping scale, from the reflective marble floors to crystalline chandeliers to the gaming tables.

Contrary to the common belief that Vegas casinos want to keep the outside out, this one is flooded with natural sunlight and offers great outdoor views. There are scores of table games, over 1,300 slot machines, a sportsbook, a race book, and a trendy high-roller lounge.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Review: The Verdict

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is the new definition of Vegas hotel luxury. It’s tucked right in the center of the Strip, offering a 100,000-square-foot casino, 30+ restaurants, 6 bars, two nightclubs, three outdoor pools, and modern, residential-style rooms all with balconies or terraces.

The seductive decor, stylish design, and sexy atmosphere attract the young, cash-rich crowds out to enjoy the best of what Vegas has to offer. The nightlife scene is to-die-for here and paired with equally exquisite facilities both inside and outside of the rooms.
