Electronic safes, sitting areas, and flat-screen TVs come standard in all Luxor accommodations, but don’t expect to find mini-fridges or coffee makers. The casino at Luxor is equally huge, boasting around 120,000 square feet of gaming space with dozens of table games, a sportsbook, video poker, an upscale & secluded high-roller section, and over 1,100 slot machines.
But that isn’t all; Luxor Hotel & Casino presents plenty of other amenities, including a high-quality spa, a 125,650-square-foot pool deck, a colossal sphinx, and the world’s biggest atrium, not to mention an impressive array of nightlife, entertainment, and restaurant options. Did we mention that the hotel hosts a full roster of entertainment by maestros like the Blue Man Group? All of which put together means Luxor offers the best of Vegas luxury, at a fraction of the cost.

Rooms & Suites at Luxor Hotel and Casino
Luxor Hotel and Casino offers 4,400 guest rooms, making it the second-largest Vegas property in terms of the number of accommodations. The rooms are a mixed bag, ranging in décor from clean and modern to slightly dated and unappealing. Unfortunately, most of Luxor’s rooms fall under the latter category and they could certainly use some sprucing up.
The rooms in the Tower building underwent a renovation completed in 2018. It incorporated a stylish update featuring contemporary geometric carpeting, new electric outlets, and a laid-back color palette of brown-gray hues.
The rooms in the Pyramid building are a bit smaller by the Vegas Strip barometer, starting at 420 square feet. The slanting outer walls don’t help much in making these rooms feel any more spacious. The bathrooms, however, are reasonably well-furnished with clean showers but no bathtubs, tiled floors, ample counter space, and basic toiletries. But, it’s hard to ignore the broken pieces of furniture, torn wallpaper, and flickering bulbs in some of the rooms – they’re in urgent need of repair and maintenance.
On the other hand, rooms in the Tower building are noticeably more spacious, starting at around 450 square feet. They feel airier and brighter than their Pyramid counterparts, thanks to their vertical walls and large floor-to-ceiling windows that let natural light pour in, making your stay more pleasant. The bathrooms are an upgrade too, adding both deep soaking tubs and walk-in showers.
Both Tower and Pyramid rooms feature electronic safes, radio alarm clocks, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs, but lack coffee makers and mini-fridges. Ironing equipment, air conditioning, and blackout curtains are other in-room amenities shared by both Luxor room types.
Guests can also choose from 487 suites at Luxor Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. Available in both Pyramid and Tower sections, these suites come in many different configurations, with separate living spaces, either one or two bedrooms, and extra upscale perks. The most luxurious option is, of course, the Tower Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite.
Restaurants & Bars at Luxor Hotel and Casino
Fancy upscale restaurants, a mall-style food court, and an impressive buffet highlight the dining options at Luxor Hotel & Casino. Don’t expect to find a celebrity chef-driven option here, though, but your dining choices include a NY-style pizzeria, an Asian sushi spot, a Tex-Mex eatery, and a fancy steakhouse. The hotel’s deli is open 24 hours and serves plenty of beverages and snacks for the midnight hunger pangs.

Spa
The Nurture Spa at Luxor Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is unsurprisingly pleasant but not the fanciest in The Strip. It houses meditation lounges, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, with separate options for women and men. The full-service spa offers a full menu of massage services that include Swedish massage, hot stone massage, deep-tissue massage, and sports massage.
It also offers an array of therapy treatments, ranging from reflexology to aromatherapy. Expect to get pampered with typical services like facials, body treatments, and much more.
Gym and Fitness
A small yet modern fitness center is available at Luxor, just next door to the pool complex. It’s bright and well-equipped with full sets of free weights, Pilates balls, strength-training equipment, and multiple types of cardio machines, such as treadmills, stationary bikes, and elliptical trainers.
Pools
Luxor Hotel and Casino Las Vegas has a massive pool deck that spans 125,650 square feet. It comprises four large outdoor pools, a pool bar, and many different comfortable loungers. While the pool deck is nothing out of Vegas’ ordinary, it has one trick up its sleeve: huge sports cement islands in the main pool, where guests can soak up the sunlight. They can also request poolside service from the Oasis Pool Bar.
Daybeds, loungers, and other pool amenities can be reserved online for a fee. There are also private cabanas available for rent; they feature large flat-screen TVs, fruit service, bottled water, rafts, phones, and a fridge.

Following the 2014 renovation, the casino at Luxor Hotel is quite a hit. There’s also an on-site sportsbook and race-book with large flat-screen TVs on the wall.

The imposing casino hotel provides wow-inspiring sights, excellent customer service, and a mix of modern & slightly worn rooms. From the 120,000-square-foot pool deck to the electrifying nightlife, there’s a lot to look forward to at the Luxor Las Vegas.
